Welcome to the Wrexham Glyndŵr University Chaplaincy Homepage

Glyndŵr Multi-Faith Chaplaincy team is a group of people from a range of different faiths working together to serve the whole University community of students and staff in any way that we can. We aren’t here just for people who follow a religion – we’re here for those of all faiths and none.

What is Chaplaincy?

It’s a common misconception that Chaplains only work with people at difficult times in their lives, and we do offer support and a listening ear if needed, but we’re here for far more than just that!

What do we do?

We provide support to Wrexham Glyndŵr university students and staff but we also hold a range of events throughout the year, and will be involved in many University activities, especially those connected with diversity, wellbeing or support services.

Places to go

Our Quiet Room (A29 in the main building) is open to all staff and students who want somewhere peaceful for meditation, prayer or just a few moments of calm. Just pop in at any time you wish.

Other contacts

We can put you in contact with a variety of Student Faith Societies and places of worship in the area, or arrange for you to see one of our multi-faith team of chaplains. You can also drop into our office (also in the main building- A25) at any time during our opening hours for a free cuppa and an informal natter about whatever is on your mind.
